UF/IFAS Mid-Florida Research and Education Center

The UF/IFAS Mid-Florida Research and Education Center (MREC) is a University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) research center located in Apopka, the heart of the state’s greenhouse and nursery industry. MREC serves this industry by fulfilling the Land-Grant mission of the University of Florida with timely Research, Teaching, and Extension resources.
